We are looking for a Service Installer Tech I who is the hands-on expert who installs, troubleshoots, and repairs Docomo Pacific's internet, TV, and phone services for customers. This role ensures reliable connections by working from the distribution tap to the customer's home or office, handling everything from wiring and equipment setup to service upgrades and repairs. Technicians also educate customers on how to use their equipment, respond to outages, and perform safety checks, all while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the island community's connectivity needs
What You'll Do
As a Service Installer Tech I, you'll be the friendly face (and skilled hands) behind the installation, repair, and support of Docomo Pacific's internet, TV, and phone services. Every day is different as you might be troubleshooting in the field, educating a family on their new setup, or making sure a local business has reliable service.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair CATV, internet, and VoIP services from the distribution tap to the customer's home or office.
  • Educate customers on how to get the most out of their digital boxes, modems, and phone systems.
  • Perform new installations, disconnects, reconnects, and wiring-making sure every job is clean, professional, and reliable.
  • Monitor and repair CATV leakage, audit connections, and document repairs.
  • Support customers with service upgrades or new product sales.
  • Respond to outages and after-hours calls on a rotating basis.
  • Always put safety first, following OSHA, NEC, and company guidelines.
  • Team up with other technicians, supervisors, and field leads to solve problems and share knowledge.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Guam AB Chauffeur's License & Health Certificate.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, or using aerial lift equipment.
  • Ability to use tools like Digital Multi Meters (DMM) and Signal Level Meters (SLM).
  • Good communication skills and are able to explain tech in simple, customer-friendly ways.
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work 8-10 hour shifts with flexibility (days, nights, weekends, and holidays).

Work Schedule
  • This is a full-time, temporary role, with occasional flexibility based on department and company needs.
