The Minnesota State Cattlemen's Association (MSCA) is a membership-based organization representing cattle farmers and individuals who are part of the cattle community in Minnesota. We are proud of our partnership with over 20 local cattlemen's associations from around the state that affiliate with the MSCA.
MSCA is primarily focused on addressing local, state and federal issues impacting the long-term viability of cattle farming and ensuring Minnesota's business climate welcomes the growth and long-term success of raising cattle in Minnesota.
Mission:To create and maintain an economic and political climate that provides individual members the opportunity to sustain and grow the cattle industry in Minnesota.
- Representation at the state and national level with lobbying efforts. The MSCA's legislative consultant and executive director work to monitor and address policy issues impacting cattle producers in the state of Minnesota.
- Subscription to the Minnesota Cattleman newspaper which is published six times per year.
- Weekly e-newsletter (Policy Pen) mailings to stay up-to-date with policy and news in the cattle industry.
- Discounted advertisement rates for the Minnesota Cattleman paper and Policy Pen e-newsletter.
