Job Description
Barkera is seeking a General Practice Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to provide in-person clinical veterinary care in a collaborative, supportive environment. This role focuses on hands-on patient care, preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment, and client communication-without advisory, influencer, or content-creation responsibilities.
This position is ideal for a veterinarian who:

Requirements
As a General Practice Veterinarian, you will:
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage common medical conditions across life stages
  • Develop and implement preventative care plans, including:
    • Vaccination protocols
    • Parasite prevention
    • Nutrition guidance within general practice scope
    • Growth and senior wellness monitoring
  • Interpret and utilize diagnostic tools, including:
    • In-house and reference laboratory testing
    • Radiography and imaging (where applicable)
    • Basic cytology and pathology
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans consistent with best practices

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
