The organization is committed to excellence in genetics, animal care, and customer service, providing buyers with reliable, performance-driven livestock options.


Role Description The Director of Shows & Outreach is a hybrid leadership and operational support position designed to strengthen Moreno Ranches’ open show cattle operations, junior outreach initiatives, exhibitor relations, and overall brand presence throughout the United States and international markets. Moreno Ranches is seeking a motivated, organized, personable, and highly driven individual to serve as a boots-on-the-ground representative for both Moreno Ranches and the Mcheck Genetics brand. This role combines: Show cattle operations, Junior exhibitor development, Customer and exhibitor relations, Affiliate program support, Event coordination, and Regional, national, and international outreach and representation.


The position will be a hybrid position from the Texas Ranch headquarters, and include travel throughout the Southeast and other designated regions to represent Moreno Ranches and affiliated programs at livestock events, junior activities, customer visits, and industry functions.


Other responsibilities/assistance with: Show cattle pre-show preparation, Ranch photo shoots and branded media content creation, Event coordination and setup, Open show management and exhibition responsibilities, Show entry management and exhibitor coordination, and General operational support related to major events and show preparation periods.


Qualifications

- Experience in the cattle industry, livestock exhibitions, or junior livestock programs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities and travel schedules

- Experience preparing and exhibiting cattle

- Familiarity with livestock show entries, exhibitor relations, and event coordination

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Leadership ability and professionalism in public-facing settings

- Passion for mentoring youth and supporting junior livestock programs

- Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong work ethic

- Spanish-speaking is preferred (not mandatory)
