Administrative Assistant

Pay: $19-22/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support community outreach events.


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Clerk to provide administrative support in a professional office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and supporting a variety of office operations. The position also includes occasional assistance with off-site events and community outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to various departments.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Perform data entry, document management, and records maintenance with a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, and office schedules.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, events, and outreach activities.
  • Research and compile information using internal systems and online resources.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and catering as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external partners.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 years of administrative or clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with databases or project management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • This position may occasionally require travel to local off-site meetings or community events. Employees may drive their own vehicle to event locations or carpool with coworkers.
  • Ability to lift up to 20–30 pounds on an occasional basis for event setup or office needs.
