Calves are fed, with extra attention given to those needing assistance. Once feeding is complete, milk equipment is thoroughly cleaned.Next,waterand grain are provided, which includes spot cleaning and replacing dirty buckets.Bedding ismonitoredthroughout the day and added as needed. Pens and rows are scraped and cleaned according to schedule, often coordinated with calf moves.In the afternoon, calves are fed again following the same process asthe morningfeeding.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFeed calves bottles according to schedule, per instructions and distribute according to supervisor directions Cleans and sanitize milk bottles/nipples, grain/water buckets, and hutches between use to ensure healthy feeding facilities. Maintain grounds ensuring that the facility is clean and free of debris both inside and outside.
