What You Will Do

At Catholic Charities, we believe in serving and enhancing human dignity for people of all faiths and beliefs. Our Community Residential Settings (CRS) provide compassionate, community-based care for adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. We're seeking a Designated Coordinator for the four Group Homes in Cold Spring, MN. The Designated Coordinator will lead our group home with heart, purpose, and professionalism.

As a Designated Coordinator, you'll be the cornerstone of a caring, high-performing team. You will:

  • Lead and supporta team of Direct Support Professionals through coaching, team meetings, and performance feedback.
  • Deliver hands-on care to clients, develop and manage their care plans to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Coordinate carewith families, medical professionals, and community partners.
  • Manage operationsincluding scheduling, budgeting, compliance, and home maintenance.
  • Champion qualityby ensuring documentation, medication administration, and client programming meet the highest standards.
  • Provide direct services to clients.

What We're Looking For

This position requires three years of experience working with DDMI populations, at least two of which are working in a group residential setting, andat least one year of supervisory experience in a residential setting.

In addition, the qualified candidate must meet one of these four criteria to qualify as a Designated Coordinator in MN:

  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, education or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children,or
  • An associate's degree in a field related to human services, education or health and two years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children,or
  • A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from a post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children, or
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities,and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in 1, 2, or 3 above.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

You must possess a valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass a background check and MN driver's record check.
