Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Home Health Aide for our Assisted Living facility. 

Schedule:

We currently have Part-Time AM and PM opportunities available with set schedules ranging from 17.25 to 48 hours per pay period. Position includes weekdays and every other weekend. There are also On-Call openings available for candidates seeking flexibility. This role is expected to work at least 2 shifts every 30 days and 1 holiday per year.

About our community

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Aide is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help esure their dignity and quality of life.  Under the supervision of a RN the Home Health Aide assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transfering, giving medications and feeding.   

Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation.  Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.  
  • Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
