This role combines front office reception, administrative support, student services, health room coordination, and school operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced school environment.
What you'll do
• Serve as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors.
• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system and provide exceptional customer service.
• Welcome visitors, monitor building access, and follow visitor check-in procedures.
• Manage mail, deliveries, and school communications.
• Provide administrative support to the Principal and President, including calendar management, scheduling, correspondence, and reports.
• Assist students with daily needs and provide support throughout the school day.
• Support attendance processes and maintain accurate student records in collaboration with school staff.
• Coordinate field trip documentation and attendance verification.
• Maintain health room records, communicate with families regarding student health concerns, and distribute medications as required.
• Prepare daily bulletins, report cards, certificates, welcome letters, and school mailings.
• Coordinate substitute teacher coverage and ensure substitutes have lesson plans and needed resources.
• Operate and support office technology and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all interactions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
