The College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Graphic Design to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in studio media, media design, digital graphics, and digital drawing. Area of specialty is open with preference for a graphic designer with knowledge of the implications and applications of generative AI. Secondary expertise in graphic design related to advertising or social media is desired. The successful candidate will teach primarily in the Digital Media program while supporting other related programs in the School of Communication and the Arts, such as Public Relations, Advertising and Social Media. We welcome candidates with digital artistic and communication interests who are passionate about teaching, colleagueship, and content creation. Candidates should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship of undergraduates.ย 
The successful candidate will advise students and prepare them intellectually, professionally, and personally. Requirements include an earned Master's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or a related field (completed by time of appointment), a mastery of the Adobe Creative suite software, and demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.ย
