Job description

Bremerton Catholic is seeking an enthusiastic and committed full-time Children's Evangelization Director to serve the youth of Holy Trinity and Our Lady Star of the Sea. Applicants must have a good knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic church and must be living their faith daily. They must have a desire to work with our young people, their parents, and their teachers to pass on the faith.
The role of the Children's Evangelization Director is to support the weekly religious education of children from Pre-5th grade along with their parents in knowledge and understanding of our faith and prepare them for receiving the Sacraments. Duties are both ministry and administrative as you serve our young people and their families.
Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Theology or Catechesis is preferred. Prior work in ministry or religious education is preferred. The applicant must be faithful to Catholic teachings.
The position will include weekend and evening hours. Average 35 hours/week with hours fluctuating depending on parish schedule. Responsibilities begin June 2026.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
