Job description

Corrpro Companies is looking for an Inside Sales Representative for our Materials Group. This position will be based in Texas or California.

Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Companies is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

  • Responsible for the sale and support of the materials product line in an assigned territory

  • Meet or exceed sales and margin goals for the Materials product line

  • Maximize price through market knowledge

  • Maintain and develop strong customer relationships within your territory

  • Generate, qualify and develop leads and contacts that leads to Material sales

  • Manage the proposal, order entry process, and assist with logistics for the Materials business within the territory

  • Establish professional customer and vendor relationships, as needed

  • Ensure daily sales activity concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships are up to date in Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This data will feed into sales reporting, forecasting, and sales activities.

  • Remain current and report on market trends, competitive activity and product development. Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered by Corrpro

  • Work with the Commercial Managers and Business Development Managers to gather current costs for materials to maximize sales within the territory

  • Assist A/R in collections and problem resolution, and knowledge of customers' credit worthiness

  • Generate and document market intelligence for assigned accounts including market size, buying practices, and decision makers

  • Attend trade shows and related conventions to promote company products and services

  • Willing to work in our office with possible hybrid after some period of time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree or High School Diploma required

  • 3 years of proven inside sales (hunting and farming) experience with strong customer service background

  • Technical sales experience or knowledge or training of corrosion services or monitoring industry preferred

  • Willing to work in our office with possible hybrid after some period of time

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce (or other CRM)

  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and apply basic statistical concepts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to persuade, motivate and empower clients and co-workers to action

  • Experience dealing with individuals at all levels of an organization

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, well-organized and a team player
