Job description

MCI Medical is looking for an independent medical device sales representative to develop the Chicago market. More importantly, I'm looking for the right person to become a long-term partner in growing the business. This is a Chicago-area field sales position requiring regular in-person visits to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the territory.

You do not need 10 or 20 years of medical device experience. I'm looking for someone with some medical, healthcare, or sales experience who is motivated, coachable, entrepreneurial, and ready for a bigger opportunity.

Founded in 2005, MCI Medical represents a growing portfolio of differentiated medical technologies across Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology. We have established customer relationships throughout the Chicago market and significant opportunity for continued growth.

WHAT WE BRING TO THE PARTNERSHIP

โ€ข Established Chicago-area accounts and relationships

โ€ข A growing portfolio of differentiated medical technologies

โ€ข Products that address real clinical needs rather than competing primarily on price

โ€ข Clinical and sales support from an owner with 30 years of medical device experience

โ€ข Direct access to ownership and the ability to make decisions quickly

โ€ข No layers of corporate management

โ€ข The opportunity to have a meaningful role in the continued growth of MCI Medical

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

โ€ข Some experience in medical sales, healthcare sales, clinical healthcare, or a related field

โ€ข Self-motivated and entrepreneurial

โ€ข Comfortable developing new relationships and opening accounts

โ€ข Professional and credible in a hospital environment

โ€ข Coachable and interested in learning the clinical side of our products

โ€ข Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a territory

โ€ข Interested in building a business, not simply carrying another product line

Previous experience selling into Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology is a plus, but it is NOT required.

Established independent representatives with complementary products are also encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION AND OPPORTUNITY

This is an independent 1099, commission-based opportunity. Compensation will depend on experience, existing relationships, and the ability to develop the territory.

Someone earlier in their medical sales career may earn approximately $80,000 in their first year, while a successful partner has the potential to build annual earnings toward $200,000 to $250,000+ over time. There is no artificial ceiling on what the right person can build.

MORE THAN A SALES REP

After 30 years in medical device sales, I've learned that the best business relationships are built around trust, communication, hard work, and shared success.

I'm not looking for someone to simply work a territory. I'm looking for someone I can invest my time and experience in who ultimately wants to take ownership of the business they build.

If that sounds like the kind of opportunity you're looking for, I'd like to talk.
