Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Cardiac Cath Team Leader, performs all radiology procedures directly related to the Cath Lab utilizing all standards for quality and radiation safety. Willing to work in other areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiology procedures in the Cath Lab, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Work flexibly in other areas of Oklahoma Heart Hospital as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in all operations.
  • Conduct routine checks of radiology and department equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team leader, resource nurse, and other team members to share ideas and optimize resources.
  • Assist in cross-training staff as assigned.
  • Support the team leader in projects that align with the hospital's mission and values.
  • Promote teamwork to deliver exceptional patient-focused care.

Qualifications
Education: Two year AMA approved program in Radiographic Technology, AS or BS degree
Licensure/Certification: ARRT and BLS required. ACLS required within 18 months of hire.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
Working Knowledge: Able to perform at a proficient level all radiology procedures related to the cardiac cath lab in both acute and stable patients. Able to scrub, assist, and perform all other tasks as needed to perform all cases in the cath lab to include electro physiology, pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and interventions within the scope of practice.
