Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist - CCL reports directly to the Manager, Cardiac Services, and delivers high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs and angiography.

  • Utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to perform technical aspects of the procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
  • Acts as a resource person for physicians and staff regarding proper use of radiological equipment, as well as specialized supplies and equipment in the Cath Lab

What qualifications you will need:

  • Currently registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • Must be certified by the State of California (i.e. CRT)
  • Must have a current California fluoroscopy permit
  • Current BLS provider card
  • Current ACLS provider card
  • Minimum one-year Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 18 months of hire desired
  • Advanced ECG interpretation skills within three months of hire
  • Successful completion of departmental hemodynamic recording competency within three months of hire
