Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a job in San Antonio, Texas.

Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience 

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

  Performs special radiographic procedures according to policy and procedure under the general supervision of the Radiologist and/or Cardiologist
 Demonstrates proficiency in operating Angiography and/or Cath lab systems, injectors, PACS, etc.
 Demonstrates proficiency with intracoronary ultrasound machine, rotoblader and Laser console set up

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
PREFERRED EDUCATION: NA
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years hospital experience. 
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State registration and ARRT 
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification in Specialty
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life 
Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
