Complete Description:

The Cath lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region.

The 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The Cath lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post-procedural care holding areas. The practice model is rich with RN staff collaborating with CVT, focusing on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • 2 years Cath Lab Experience
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • Moderate sedation trained
  • Dysrhythmia
  • Telemetry

Must Have Experience:
  • TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchmen
  • Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
  • Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
  • Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
  • Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required

Nice to Have:
  • Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred
  • Familiar with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment
  • EP Lab Experience

Skills:
  • EP and Cath Experience: Required, 2 Years
  • BLS (AHA): Required
  • ACLS (AHA): Required
  • Moderate Sedation Trained: Required
  • RN License (NY License ONLY): Required
  • Telemetry: Required


Shift Preference:

36HPW; 4O10 or 3x12hrs (7am-5:30pm; 7am-7:30pm), Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
