Job Summary and Responsibilities

The position assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. What is Enterprise Pool?

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

Nursing Unit Type/Specialty Areas:

  • GI
  • Cath Lab

Enterprise Pool 2:

  • Full and Part Time schedules available
  • Nights or Days shift available
  • Base rate + $6.75/hr pool differential + Eligible for evening $2.75/hr, night $5.75/hr, and weekend $2.00 differentials
  • Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel all hospitals assigned within that zone.
  • Hospital facilities included in the Regional Zone: Holy Cross Davis (Layton), Holy Cross Jordan Valley (West Jordan), Holy Cross West Valley, Holy Cross Mountain Point (Lehi), Holy Cross Salt Lake
  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact,
    • Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivated.  For more information visit Colorado Board of Nursing - Compact Licensure
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range
$32.01 - $48.43 /hour
