Job Summary
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at ATC Healthcare. The Cath Lab Technologist demonstrates excellent customer service performance. This individual, under indirect supervision, is responsible for performing and assisting with advanced cardiac catheterization procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, as interpreted by a Cardiologist. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Understands and practices Cath Lab safety principles to ensure a safe environment for patients, self, and others.
Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac catheterizations and assist in interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry during procedures.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide sonography support as needed.
  • Collaborate with emergency medicine teams in Level I and II Trauma Centers.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications
  • 2 years' experience in the above field.
  • Proficient in cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology techniques
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Experience with telemetry and vital signs monitoring
  • Skilled in aseptic techniques and diagnostic evaluations
  • Familiarity with sonography and emergency medicine practices
  • Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is a plus
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology is highly desirable

Certifications:
Techs- RCIS, RCES, or RT(R), ACLS, BLS RNs- RN license, ACLS, BLS
