In the role of Catering Lead, you will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure that our guests receive great food and service. You will be responsible to prepare and deliver all catered orders accurately and on time. You will also use your marketing and sales skills to generate new business for catering at Panera Bread.
This is a first shift position - typically Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays) - hours are generally early morning to mid-afternoon. You can make GREAT TIPS!
As a Catering Lead you will:
  • Own the success of the catering operations
  • Take, place and prepare catering orders and teach others to do so effectively
  • Maintain accurate and detailed guest database, collect payments and follow up with catering guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Keep work area neat and clean while following all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Display an ability to interact positively with all team members, managers and guests on a consistent basis

This opportunity is for you if:
  • You have a valid driver license, clean drivers record and reliable transportation for local deliveries
  • You have proof of insurance
  • You have excellent customer service skills - are polite, courteous, respectful, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • You are organized and detail oriented
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and your teammates
  • You are able to work a flexible schedule with early start times
  • You are over the age of 18
  • You have food service or retail sales experience (preferred but not required)
  • You must be able to lift up to 45 lbs, and be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
