Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)

Vancouver, WA (Vancouver Campus)
  • 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661
Duration: 1-year base contract with up to four (4) option years
 
Shift Schedule 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts (4–5 days/week), including rotating day, evening, and night shifts. Weekend and federal holiday coverage required. On-call, overtime, and callback coverage may be required.
 
How many shifts needed per month: Approximately full-time coverage (1.0 FTE = 2,080 hours/year per technologist)
 
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
 
License: ARRT – Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
 
Certifications:
  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
  • BLS (AHA preferred)
Experience needed:
  • Minimum 2 years X-Ray experience
  • Must have worked as an X-Ray Tech in a hospital setting within the last 6 months (flexible up to 9 months case-by-case)
Special Skills needed:
  • Portable X-ray imaging
  • Trauma and routine diagnostic exams
  • Radiation safety and infection control
  • Strong patient interaction skills
  • Experience working in a 24/7 hospital imaging environment
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and complex diagnostic X-ray exams
  • Respond to urgent and emergency imaging needs in a 24/7 clinical setting
  • Position patients and operate radiographic equipment
  • Maintain imaging records and documentation
  • Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff
  • Provide portable imaging throughout the medical center
  • Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage
Misc:
  • Full-time assignment (~40 hours/week)
  • Candidates may be required to work at either Portland or Vancouver location based on facility needs
