Job description

Overview
The Manager, Payment Sales Promotion reports to the VP, Consumer Payments. This position will take their day-to-day direction from the Director, Consumer Payments and will serve as a strategic leader driving credit card growth and payment-related initiatives for select Catalyst portfolio brands. This role will be responsible for driving sales utilizing Catalyst Brand branded credit cards, to include activities such as new account acquisition, account retention, and improved customer engagement for cross branded card programs through CRM-driven credit marketing strategies. This position will partner closely with brand marketing, loyalty, store operations, and the credit card issuing partner to make sure there is a seamless go-to market execution across all customer touchpoints.
Responsibilities
• Support the team in growing Catalyst branded credit card program sales dollars and achievement of the payment function's 5-year credit card sales objectives.
• Develop and execute customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle credit marketing initiatives across various channels that increase active accounts and average annual spend per account.
• Partner with Catalyst marketing team to develop, optimize, and assist in execution of CRM-driven credit marketing strategies by leveraging customer segmentation, lifecycle insights, and behavioral data to drive card acquisition, engagement, and incremental sales across all channels and touchpoints.
• Analyze customer/cardmember behavior and performance trends to inform ongoing card product strategy, promotions, and messaging to maximize overall ROI.
• Support the Manager, Gift Card on execution of Catalyst Gift Card promotions in their partner brands to ensure a strong brand representation and sales performance.
• Partner with the marketing, loyalty, and digital team on all credit related marketing projects, to include developing recommendations for how the Credit Card Program is represented across their partner brands customer touchpoints.
• Responsible for continuous enhancement of end-to end customer experience across the Catalyst branded credit card portfolio.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required or 5+ years of appropriate equivalent work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead major cross-functional marketing or product initiatives with consistent delivery against objectives.
• Proactively designs solutions with the customer experience in mind.
• Ability to work both strategically and tactically, balancing big-picture planning with executional detail.
• Brings an action-oriented approach with the ability to pivot as market, customer, or Catalyst brands conditions change.
