Job Description

Position: Certified Professional Clinical Coding Analysis

Location: AUSTIN TX 78727

Duration: 6+months

Pay Rate: $40.70/Hr on W2

Professional Coder certification required. ICD-10 certified with broad current outpatient billing/coding experience to assist in operationalizing medical policy development related matters or other projects as specified by the State. The Certified Coder must demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills specified.

  • Minimum of 3 years of health care/medical industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 years proficiency in using PC software, including word processing, MS-Excel
  • Minimum of 2 years of International Classification of Disease ( ICD) experience

Preferred skills:

  • RN/LVN
  • Strong knowledge of medical/dental terminology
  • Prior health insurance, Medicaid, and or claims processing, including ICD, NCCI and HCPCS experience
  • Significant experience using spreadsheet and word processing functionality
  • Degree in health care/medical field
  • Excellent oral and written communications
