JOB DETAILS:

JOB SUMMARY: Loads, unloads, refuels, moves, ships and receives machines for the Pump and Power Systems Rental operation. Operates forklifts to load, unload and move rental equipment and attachments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists customers, vendors and transport companies who are delivering or picking up rental machines.
  • Uses DBS to receive and ship machines and attachments.
  • Uses DBS to maintain accurate records of inventory locations.
  • Stages Equipment to be loaded.
  • Fuels, checks for damage, and parks machines in appropriate area for service.
  • Maintains yard, offices, and storage areas within rental dept.
  • Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists rental technicians in changing attachments on rental tractors.
  • Assists Rental Operations Manager with inventory audits.
  • Cleans rental tractors, cabs, and exteriors.
  • Work within and promote corporate values.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Experience operating forklifts and large equipment.
  • Ability to operate and use cleaning equipment and mechanics repair tools.
  • Interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with people and to efficiently meet customer needs.
  • Ability to legibly write receiving records, maintain inventory control records, and follow shipping instructions.
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Forklift certified.
  • Minimum 6 months related experience.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
