Working Hours/Days
Monday thru Friday 7:30 to 4:00
Saturdays when needed
Overview
The individual should be personable, a problem solver, intelligent and able to adapt to all of the forces around them - Customers, suppliers, department employees, and co-workers.
Basic Duties
  • Parts sales order picking, packing and shipping.
  • All receiving of emergency and stock parts orders from vendors
  • Performs physical inventory counts in coordination with inventory control and parts management
  • Required to operate a company vehicle by the cba
  • Operates within all parts policies and procedures of the company
  • Contributes to high employee morale
  • Maintains excellent parts and service department and sales force relations

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, a technical school diploma in parts operations, or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business
  • Good communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Military encouraged to apply
  • Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work
  • Solid parts knowledge
  • Warehouse training in a distribution field
  • A solid understanding of the physical aspects of parts inventory
  • Valid Drivers License

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position works in both a warehouse environment with some outside exposure and office environment. May, on a continuous basis sit at a desk for long periods of time, answer phone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. May on a continuous basis, walk, bend and lift up to 75 pounds. The wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level in the office is usually low and the noise level in the warehouse may range from low to moderate. Must be flexible during peak season to work overtime as needed. Occasional local travel may be required to deliver parts to customers. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
