Position Summary


Valvoline Express Care / Castrol Oil Change is seeking motivated and customer-focused Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our team. No previous automotive experience is required—we provide paid training to help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in preventive automotive maintenance.

As an Entry Level Technician, you will assist customers by performing preventive maintenance services while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by evaluating customers' vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance services, including:
  • Oil and filter changes
  • Fluid inspections and refills
  • Air filter replacement
  • Windshield wiper replacement
  • Light inspections and replacement
  • Tire pressure checks
  • Complete vehicle safety inspections.
  • Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work efficiently with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
