Job Title: Heat Treat Operator- Casting
Job Category: Light Industrial
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00 am; 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am
Pay: $18/hr +$1 shift differential
Job Summary
The Position follows standard work instruction and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
  • Monitor Heat treat operations
  • Complete hardness test
  • Off load parts when necessary
Equipment and Hand Tools Used
  • Heat Treat
  • Hardness checker
  • Air Buffer
  • Gorbel Crane
Education and Aptitudes
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours per shift
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
  • Strong motor coordination and eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime as needed
Required Skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
  • No physical restrictions that would prevent lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly
Desired Skills
  • Prior manufacturing or machining experience preferred
