Commodity Management Location: Winston-Salem, NC Job ID: #72494 Pay Range: $47-56 The Global Strategic Sourcing Casting Commodity is seeking an experienced, energetic, proactive transition/sourcing manager. This individual will champion impactful growth and development of key suppliers within the casting supply base. Responsibilities: Support the Castings Commodity/Execute supply chain strategies across multiple sites Develop a strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts across a given commodity Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature Manage projects or processes of various complexity Resolve escalated issues with vendors and supply chain management Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager Coach and review the work of peers, influence other regarding policies, practices, and procedures Set negotiations terms for the procurement of direct materials Establish sourcing goals and acceptable service levels Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives Analyze data and information to determine reasonable prices Evaluate supplier's capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness Identify and conduct research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met Ensure supplier or commodity is performing to the requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
