Job Title: Production AssociateJob DescriptionAs a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating the ingot casting line, densimeter, and pour station, while ensuring the proper level of ladle. You will be responsible for furnace charging, including measuring levels, operating controls, and charging materials using calculation methods. Additionally, you will manage furnace exhaust, pump control operations, and circulation handling with skimming and shipping. Your role will also involve furnace tapping and operating forklifts, front-end loaders, spectrometers, and milling and sanding machines. Maintaining accurate operational records and assisting in training team members are also key aspects of this position.
Responsibilities- Operate the ingot casting line and densimeter.
- Ensure proper levels at the pour station and manage ladle operations.
- Perform furnace charging by measuring levels and operating furnace controls.
- Utilize calculation methods for weighing materials in pounds and kilograms.
- Manage furnace exhaust by operating damper and door controls.
- Understand and operate pump controls effectively.
- Handle circulation, including skimming and shipping.
- Perform furnace tapping with proper techniques.
- Operate forklifts and front-end loaders safely.
- Utilize spectrometers, milling, and sanding machines.
- Maintain and monitor accurate operational records.
- Assist in training and directing inexperienced team members.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hot, dusty, and noisy plant environment, requiring adaptability and resilience. The work schedule follows a 2x3x2 pattern, with shifts from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
