We are looking for an experienced CNC Setup Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you have strong CNC setup experience and the ambition to grow into an engineering role, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints.
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines and CNC programs as they arise.
• Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in and out of machine using a
lifting device such as an overhead hoist or by hand depending on part size and weight.
• Responsible for meeting standard production timeframes established for setup and cycle times.
• Responsible for machine offsets and tool changes.
• Performs some follow-up operations, such as deburring, polishing, grinding and prepping the
part for shipping. This may include sending the part through the wash tank.
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Occasional use of manual or electric pallet jack.
• Documents QA inspections.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise.
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
• Should have a positive and professional attitude.
• Understands CNC programming and setup procedure.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus.
• Knowledge of G and M Codes.
• Solid math skills.
• Understands CMM printouts and has the ability to adjust work coordinates.
• Strong computer and office software skills
