Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a Cybersecurity Lead to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.

The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations


Responsibilities
  • Lead cybersecurity governance, RMF execution, and compliance activities across the BMx FoS.
  • Define and enforce release security gates and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Manage vulnerability assessment, remediation, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Oversee STIG compliance, ACAS scanning, and cATO readiness efforts.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity support for cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Support POA&M management and cybersecurity risk assessments.
  • Provide cybersecurity reporting and compliance oversight to Government stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience-including experience supporting DoD RMF environments.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Experience with RMF, STIGs, ACAS, SAST/DAST, Vulnerability management, Continuous monitoring, eMASS, Security architecture, Zero Trust concepts
  • Security+ cert is required; CISSP, CASP+, or CCSP is preferred
