Summary
Casino Cashier - Grave Shift
Pay: Starting at $18.50/hour
POSITION SUMMARY
WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking detail-oriented, dependable, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as a Casino Cashier on Grave Shift. In this role, team members are responsible for safeguarding company assets, balancing bank drawers, processing financial transactions accurately, and delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong cash-handling skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to remain composed while handling multiple transactions and guest interactions throughout the shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain accuracy in all financial transactions
  • Accurately balance assigned banks and maintain proper documentation
  • Cash gaming chips, tokens, vouchers, and TITO tickets for guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Process guest account transactions, including player's club services and card replacements
  • Handle check cashing, credit card advances, EFTPOS transactions, and foreign currency exchanges
  • Prepare table fills and process table credits
  • Maintain accurate balance sheets and inventory records for chip banks and cage transactions
  • Perform vault functions, including handling currency, coin, and transaction records
  • Assist Cage Supervisors and fellow Cashiers as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all internal operations and financial activities
  • Provide outstanding guest service while ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • Previous gaming, banking, cashiering, or cash-handling experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
