Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned’s Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. The casino originally opened in 2012 and is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. With numerous slot machines and ample table games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps as well as delicious dining options, we offer a guest experience unparalleled to others.


Are you an outgoing, relationship-oriented individual looking to get into a growing industry? Would you like to host parties and events, meet clients, build relationships, conduct promotions and learn about many segments of the hospitality industry including gaming, dining, marketing, hotel operations and more? If so, this position is for you! Magnolia Bluffs Casino in Natchez, MS is looking to add a Casino Host to the team. Hosts work closely with our casino VIPs to ensure they enjoy every visit to the property. Our Host team adds value and excitement to our guest's overall entertainment experience.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and evaluates customer confidential profiles to determine appropriate customer needs on a daily basis.
  • Effectively delivers required sales and program specific goals and targets.
  • Makes hotel reservations for qualified guests.
  • Assists at the Saratoga Club when coverage is needed.
  • Maintains relationships with VIP guests through personal contact by phone, email and in person with the ultimate goal of increasing business.
  • Awards calculated complimentaries to valued guests to increase loyalty.
  • Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere with all guests.
  • Handles customer problems, complaints and reports all incidents to Director of Player Relations.
  • Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business.
  • Assists with special events and promotions.
  • Anticipates, responds to and consistently meets or exceeds the needs of internal and external clients.
  • Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
  • Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
  • Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
  • Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
  • Complies with and upholds company expectations including policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
  • Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure.
  • Responsible for working effectively as a collaborative team player.
  • Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies, and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Able to lift and carry 40 lbs occasionally.

Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours.

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. Travel to Jackson, MS will be mandatory for this licensing process.
