ABOUT US:

Livonia Travel Plaza is located at 8621 Airline Highway, Livonia, Louisiana. Livonia Travel Plaza “On The Way to Everywhere” is a one-stop shop: Convenience Store, Casino, Fuel and Truck Stop. Offering a wide selection of snacks, candy, beverages, groceries, retail necessities, novelties, gifts, and full deli serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and daily special options alongside competitively priced fuel, new diesel pumps, and large truck parking.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


SNAPSHOT: The Casino Associate role provides customer service and operational support within the truck stop's gaming area. This involves providing guests with a friendly and welcoming environment, monitoring gaming activities and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.

  • STORE HOURS: Open 24-hours/Monday – Sunday
  • POSITION: Casino Associate
  • COMMITMENT: Part-Time or Full-Time schedules available
  • COMPENSATION: Hourly

Requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and provide friendly and welcoming customer service
  • Assist guests with gaming machines, player rewards, and general questions
  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and minor disputes professionally
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including payouts, ticket redemption, and register balancing
  • Verify age and identification in accordance with gaming laws
  • Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the gaming area and customer spaces
  • Follow company policies, gaming regulations, and safety procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have or able to obtain a tech 1 and liquor license
  • Previous customer service, cashier, retail, or casino experience preferred
  • Basic math, cash-handling, and problem solving skills
  • Clear background check with no felonies or misdemeanors related to theft or gaming violations
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Applicable candidates will be required to submit authorization and successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening:

Criminal Background Investigation and Drug and Alcohol Test.
