Cashier

Our cashiers are the face of family and have the chance to be the first to interact with our guest, you will take care of our customers with a smile, friendly and a professional demeanor. You would be part of our teamwork who work collectively toward fully satisfying our guests.
Prior experience as customer service, cashier, associate, restaurant crew member, team member or other part time restaurant job experience is not required but is preferred.
Requirements/Responsibilities
  • Follows company food handling and safety procedures.
  • Greets guests, takes guest orders. Suggestive sells and/or upselling for every order taken.
  • Collects payment, gives guests correct changes. Is responsible for proper cash handling and any cash shortages and/or overages. Cashier must count register at the start and end of the shift.
  • Works at a quick and effective pace that meets or exceeds company service time standards (walk-in, mobile ordering and drive-thru)
  • Cleans and sanitizes the entire work area periodically.
  • Supports and assists peers including but not limited to expediter and/or service assistant.
  • Assists in training new cashiers
  • Periodically performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements 
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to work under stress/pressure of peak periods
  • Must have a high level of mobility/flexibility to reach, bend, scrub, wipe and lift 25lbs.

Qualification Standards:
  • Food handler card is required
  • Must be able to communicate, speak and read English, second language is a plus.
  • No experience is required, guest service experience preferred
  • No education is required, high school diploma and equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to observe products and use best judgement prior to presenting products to the guests to ensure a high level of food quality is maintained.
