Summary

The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, Quote-to-Cash, forms part of the Commercial Technology and Intelligence (CTI) team. This role partners with business stakeholders and the Business Information Systems (BIS) team to enhance and support Salesforce capabilities across the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong Salesforce expertise and experience supporting complex commercial processes, including quoting, enterprise and estate-level quoting, pricing, contract management, and workflow automation. This individual serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable solutions while supporting testing, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement efforts.

Knowledge of downstream processes such as billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition is preferred.

Major Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with BIS, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and related documentation.
  • Support complex quoting scenarios, including enterprise, multi-product, and estate-level quoting structures.
  • Assess impacts of new products, pricing models, contractual changes, and go-to-market initiatives on business processes and supporting systems.
  • Coordinate and support functional testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues impacting Quote-to-Cash processes.
  • Support release planning, change management, user adoption, and training activities.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies, Education & Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise business systems.
  • Strong Salesforce experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, releases, and user support.
  • Understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes, including opportunity management, quoting, pricing, approvals, contract management, renewals, and order management.
  • Experience supporting complex quoting scenarios, including enterprise and estate-level quoting.
  • Experience creating business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions.
  • Experience supporting contract lifecycle management and complex commercial sales processes.
  • Understanding of downstream Quote-to-Cash processes, including billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks and collaborating with technical development teams.
  • Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, or related Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience supporting SaaS subscription and recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to improve productivity, business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, process automation, and operational efficiency is a plus.
