Job description

SUMMARY

Serves food & beverage to customers at the Good Zoo.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Opens & closes refreshment stands. Follows opening & closing procedures.
  • Services guests in a fast and professional manner. Accurately and efficiently prepares food and drink orders.
  • Operates cash registers and provides accurate change to cash-paying customers.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked workspace. Various cleaning duties will be assigned each shift.
  • Candidates will be scheduled to work in 2 locations at the Good Zoo: indoor cafe and Train Station. .
  • Candidates may be scheduled to work in food tents for special events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Personable and professional attitude at all times.
  • Must possess or attend training to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card.
  • Driver’s license preferred.

Candidates must possess a pleasant personality and have the ability to work with the public. Food service experience helpful. Schedule is all shifts, including holidays and weekends. Candidates should expect to work consistent weekends from Easter through end of year.
