Newport Racing & Gaming is a gaming and entertainment facility located in Newport, Kentucky, featuring over 400 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art Vegas-style games, sports wagering, restaurant and simulcast.

JOB SUMMARY

The Main Banker is responsible and accountable for the complete operation of the Main Bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate redemption kiosk cassette inventory.
  • Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests.
  • Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team.
  • Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the Main Bank.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
