Job description

Position Function:

The level of the position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Cash Management Officer is responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Cash Management services sold. Ensures that products are properly set up in accordance with published service level agreements. Provides high quality of client service to internal and external customers while performing a wide variety of services such as assisting with technical support, product training, questions, changes, or concerns regarding Cash Management products.

Performs all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner that is expressly aligned with the Company's Core Values of approaching all actions with a “Voyaging Spirit” and being “Positively Ohana”. Exhibits core competencies that result in consistent delivery of positive Customer Interactions, Empowerment and Ownership and demonstrates key professional and performance skills such as Active Listening, effective Oral and Written Communication, Action and Solution Oriented and Thoroughness.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Service Quality:
    • Represents the Bank to clients in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Identifies and resolves a variety of customer problems and inquiries by determining the cause and origin of systems errors/problems.
    • Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing requests and transactions.
    • Monitors activities in Bank's general phone and email inbox.
    • Provides technical business product and service support
    • Assists in the development and maintenance of effective client relationships with Line officers (Commercial, Business, and Community Banking).
    • Responsible for cash management service maintenance and incident resolution.
  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations:
    • Joint sales calls with Line Units to provide product demonstrations and presentations.
    • Liaison between Line Units and Customers.
    • Acts as business product and services liaison between Line Units and their customers.
  • Cash Management Service Support:
    • Assists in evaluation of product line and implementation of enhancements/changes.
    • Assists in Product Development and Evaluation.
    • Assists in development of procedures for business products and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Cash Management Officer I, II, and Senior:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field preferred.

Experience:

Cash Management Officer I:

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer service in any commercial business product required.
  • Administrative support experience in related area preferred.
  • Bank operations and bank depository system preferred.

Cash Management Officer II:

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer service in any commercial business product required.
  • Administrative support experience in related area preferred.
  • Bank operations and bank depository system preferred.
  • Team leader experience preferred.

Senior Cash Management Officer:

  • 6+ years of experience in Customer service in any commercial business product required.
  • Administrative support experience in related area preferred.
  • Bank operations and bank depository system preferred.
  • Team leader experience preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required. 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
