Summary:

The Cash Management Clerk is responsible for supporting daily cash management operations through the accurate processing, tracking, and reconciliation of cash transactions. This role works closely with internal departments and banking partners to ensure timely cash application, account balancing, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and post daily cash receipts, deposits, wire transfers, ACH transactions and other banking activities.
  • Process daily desktop deposits and incoming checks.
  • Preform daily and monthly bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor bank accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Maintain cash management records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external banking partners to research and resolve payment-related issues.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Experience and Skills:


    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and follow through to resolution.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • One or more years of experience in cash management, accounting, banking, accounts receivable, or a related financial role preferred.
  • Experience with accounting, treasury, or ERP systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of banking transactions, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Work Schedule:

This is a 100% office position requiring your physical presence Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position typically ranges from $19.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
