Cage Supervisor
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible and accountable for the operation of the Cage Department activities during a shift. Supervision of assigned area(s) according to the Cage Department internal controls, policies and procedures and gaming regulations. In addition, the incumbent in this position is responsible to promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain security and accountability of casino funds located in the cage areas during their shift and ensure smooth and efficient Cage operations.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training Employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Verify daily paperwork to resolve any variance errors that may arise during their shift.
  • Address any customer inquiries or complaints and follow up with proper documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
  • Casino experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • At least one year of cash handling and two years of customer service required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

HOURS / SHIFTS
  • Due to the type of business, must be able to work weekends, nights, special events, and holidays.
