Job description

Cash Posting Associate (Contract)

Location: California, 95661 (Onsite – Sonora AHSR)
Contract Dates: April 20, 2026 – September 13, 2026 (21 weeks)
Pay: $736 – $840/week


Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

  • Onsite position


Position Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash deposits for patient and insurance payments

  • Post payments to patient accounts and general ledger accurately

  • Reconcile daily cash receipts with supervisor

  • Research and resolve unidentified or incorrect payments

  • Ensure accurate documentation and financial recordkeeping


Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED preferred

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Healthcare or revenue cycle experience preferred

  • No certifications required (CPAT preferred)

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, strong research skills required


Additional Details:
  • Must work onsite in Sonora (AHSR)

  • Handles multiple payment sources (mail, lockbox, EFT, courier)

  • Must maintain accuracy and compliance in financial posting processes

  • Adheres to Adventist Health safety and compliance policies (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
