Case Packer Operator โ€“ (3rd Shift)

A leading food and beverage manufacturer in Hendersonville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Case Packer Operator to join their 3rd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating automated packaging equipment to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor case packing, forming, and sealing equipment to maintain efficient production flow
  • Perform routine quality checks on packaging, labels, and finished cases to ensure product standards are met
  • Adjust machine settings, clear minor jams, and assist with basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Support line changeovers, including adjusting equipment for different product sizes and packaging configurations
  • Replenish packaging materials such as boxes, labels, and film as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and GMP standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (food or beverage industry a plus)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and crouching throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and production environments
  • Must follow all safety procedures, including PPE and food safety guidelines
