Job description

We are looking for a full-time Housing Case Manager to provide Housing Support and Case Management services to individuals that have a history or are currently experiencing homelessness. This position requires a compassionate, resourceful, and highly organized individual who can effectively collaborate with a team to help empower clients to achieve stability and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, make referrals, and follow up for services and resources as needed.
  • Complete all admission and discharge paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in case consultations, and supervision meetings.
  • Assist clients with securing housing and interface with landlords to maintain housing.
  • Provide support services once housed to help improve stability and longevity in housing.
  • Use motivational interviewing techniques and engagement strategies to build an alliance with clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field.
  • BSW applicants are required to be licensed (LSW) prior to beginning employment.
  • One year of experience working in the mental health field.
  • Must have the ability to work on a flexible schedule and work independently. 
  • Must have strong organization and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay: $25.11 - $30.13 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
