Job description

Title: Cart Attendant

Compensation: $13 hourly

Location: Manakin Sabot, VA 23103

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Provide bag, cart and range services to members and guests.

Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
1. Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop; checks carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety concerns.
2. Loads golf bags from member golf bag storage room onto carts.
3. Maintains daily range tee operations (i.e. water cooler, yardage markers, bag stands, and range bag replenishing as needed).
4. Operates cart and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
5. Washes all range balls daily.
6. Removes bags from carts, cleans clubs, and returns members? bags to assigned storage location in bag storage room.
7. Cleans and returns carts to cart barn/shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for abuse; washes cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
8. Advises pro shop of lost and found clubs and other personal items left behind.
9. Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club?s rental equipment.
10. Maintains cleanliness of and order in bag storage room.
11. Attends occasional staff meetings.
12. Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by assistant golf professional team (i.e. handpicking of range, cart fleet detailing, etc.).

Skills and Abilities Required
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to clearly communicate member needs to other Team Members. Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Minimum Age 16. Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours. A positive attitude while on the job is 100% essential to being successful in this position.
