Our Guest Services team is often the first friendly face patients and visitors meet when they arrive at Lakewood Health System. This team plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and positive experience by providing transportation assistance and valet services with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. Working alongside staff across the organization, Courtesy Drivers help ensure every patient and visitor feels cared for from the moment they arrive, reflecting Lakewood's commitment to exceptional service and personalized care.

Mission for Position

The Courtesy Driver is responsible for providing professional, safe, high-quality transportation for patients and visitors to/from Lakewood Health System's parking lot.Applicants should have 5-star service standards, be detail orientated and able to multi-task and problem solve. This position works closely with patients and visitors. It is the first point of contact for some of our patients and visitors, which makes this position an integral part of the system.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drivers are responsible to offer a ride to patients to and from their vehicles to the front door of the hospital, or clinic.
  • Drivers are responsible to provide transportation in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Driver's will complete valet service upon request in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Drivers must appear neat, well-groomed and follow dress code standards.
  • Drivers must display a pleasant, friendly, positive attitude towards all patients/visitors.

Position Type

This is apart-time position averaging 27.50 hours every two weeks. Hours are weekdays from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota Driver’s license
