What is a Dz Weekend?

'Dz Weekend' jobs typically refer to positions that require employees to work primarily on weekends, often in the service, retail, or hospitality industries. These roles may include responsibilities such as customer service, sales, event support, or facility management. They are ideal for individuals seeking part-time employment, students, or anyone looking to supplement their income outside of traditional weekday hours. Working weekend shifts can sometimes offer higher pay rates or additional benefits due to less desirable hours. The specific duties and requirements will vary depending on the employer and industry.

What does a Dz Weekend do?

In a weekend news reporting position, you can expect to cover breaking stories, community events, and often fill in for weekday staff. The pace is fast, with a focus on timely updates and flexibility as news unfolds. Weekend teams are typically smaller, which fosters close collaboration between reporters, editors, and producers. This environment provides valuable opportunities to take on more responsibility and develop a varied portfolio, which can accelerate career growth within the newsroom.

Job description

Weekly Pay!
Tips and mileage reimbursement paid after every shift!
Must have a clean driving record. Must be available weekends.

Full Time or Part Time available! Driver's get wage $12+ an hour, tips, and mileage reimbursement/Gas. and wage +tips averages $20-25 an hour!

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that perfectly made sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double-checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law-abiding while on the street). Our Drivers do great with the small delivery area and high volume of CONSISTENT deliveries. Drivers take home cash every day!

While not on the road, Drivers work in the store and will be required to learn the menu with 100% accuracy, help take orders, make sandwiches and assist us in maintaining a clean restaurant.

Delivery is a customer service job so knowing the menu, following customer's requests and following through with a smile can lead to more successful days!

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must provide your own vehicle, pass a driver check (no more than 2 standard moving violations), and have the required insurance
  • Work as an In-shopper when there are no deliveries

At Jimmy John's, we don't make sandwiches. We make The Sandwich of Sandwiches. NYAS LLC is a Jimmy John's Sandwiches franchisee with multiple locations in the Twin Cities of MN - specifically some Southwest suburbs and nearby small towns.
