Job description

Refrigeration Technician

**2nd Shift**

As a well-known Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo Trucks, Hino, and TICO yard tractors dealership, we have 15 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. Come join our hard-working, longstanding, and highly reviewed branch in Collinsville, IL!

Job Duties:

  • Performing mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations
  • Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs
  • Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience as a refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic preferred
  • Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
