Job description

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule? We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Carquest Parts Delivery Driver. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering parts to our customers while providing exceptional service. Candidates must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, be able to lift heavy objects, and hold a valid driver's license with no restrictions and a clean MVR. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Safely and efficiently deliver parts to customers' locations using company vehicles.
  • Ensure accurate order picking and timely delivery to meet customers' expectations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally and representing our company positively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and delivery areas.
  • Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of parts.
  • Collect payment from customers when necessary and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with store staff and customers regarding delivery updates or issues.
  • Complete delivery logs and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.

Requirements: 

  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with delivery duties.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles preferred, but not required.
