Job description

We are seeking an experienced CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating any of our four trucks: from a one-ton flatbed Ram up to a 2025 International with 53' dry van. Must have strong customer service skills as you will be delivering livestock and horse feed to end users and feedstores all across Texas and periodically to Southern Oklahoma and Western Louisiana

Must be a team player.


Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Load and unload cargo with 2000-pound pallet jack
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues, maintenance needs, or incidents to management
  • Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Inspect loads for inventory accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Clean CDL
  • Previous experience in truck driving
  • Commercial driver's license: Class A
  • Must be able to handle physical workload
  • Must be able to lift 50 pound bags
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skill

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Livestock and horse experience
  • Some comprehension of livestock and horse nutrition
  • Sales experience
  • Ability to diagnose and/or perform small repairs on the road
